Pop goes the fun ball...

Today is the big day for us and US. It's the USA vs England game the streets have been roaming with obnoxious Englishmen. We have been told to arrive to the park and ride 6 hours early. I'm a little nervous for the game as I don't know what to expect from the crowds. It's disturbing that we have no safe place to put anything of value... not the hotel not the car and certainly not on us so I guess we will bury it.

Yesterday the streets were vibrant with excited south African fans it was fantastic to see. From here we made to a mall where we found a few internets. It is surprisingly tough to survive without the constant interaction of the interwebs which is why we purchased a soccer ball. This ball didn't even survive the evening before we punctured it on the barbwire surrounding the compound.

Last night at the compound BBQ we found that South Africans thoroughly enjoy our country music. This is disturbing. But we found the ox, sheep and mystery cheese sausage to be quite tasty.

Watch for us on TV today we are on the second deck near one of the goals about 20 rows up. Game is at 1:30pm central time.
